Terms of Use

FastCAC is a registration platform built and run by DigitalAbode (RC 8561321), a registered Nigerian technology company ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you use fastcac.com, your FastCAC account, our tools or our AI assistant. By using them, you agree to these terms.

FastCAC is not a CAC agent and not a law firm. We check your details, file them directly with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and keep you updated. Using FastCAC doesn't create a lawyer-client relationship, and nothing we provide is legal advice.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you register a business for someone else or for a company, you confirm you have their permission to do so.

Keep your sign-in email and Google account secure, because anyone with access to them can use your FastCAC account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. You're responsible for activity in your account.

When you pay for a registration, we check your details, file your application with CAC and track it until CAC issues your certificate and TIN.

• CAC decides. Approval, the final name and how long CAC takes are up to CAC. We show the time registrations usually take, but we can't guarantee CAC's timelines.
• Name rejections. We check your name before you commit. If CAC still rejects it, we suggest alternatives and resubmit at no extra cost until a name is approved.
• Queries. If CAC asks for a correction or a document, we'll tell you what's needed. Delays while we wait for your reply aren't in our control.

You're responsible for making sure the details and documents you provide are true, complete and yours to share, including details of any other proprietors, who must agree to them being used. Wrong information can lead CAC to query or reject an application, and we're not responsible for delays or costs that result. Review everything before you submit.

Prices are in naira and shown before you pay. A registration price includes the government filing fees, stamp duty, your CAC certificate and your TIN, with no hidden extras. Payments are processed by our payment providers, and we start work once your payment is confirmed.

Until we file your application with CAC, you can cancel it and we'll refund 80% of what you paid.

Once your application is filed with CAC, it can't be withdrawn and the government fees can't be recovered, so we can't refund it. We see every filed application through until your certificate is ready. Most are ready within 24 hours; CAC reviews some applications by hand, which takes longer.

• The name checker shows CAC's response at the time you check. It's a strong signal, not a promise that CAC will approve the name later.
• Name ideas and invoices are starting points. Check names before you use them, and check invoices with your accountant.
• The AI assistant can make mistakes. Use it for guidance, and confirm anything important with us or a professional. Free use may be limited, for example to a number of messages a day.

You agree not to:

• use FastCAC for anything unlawful or fraudulent, or to register a business in someone else's name without their consent;
• submit false documents or another person's ID;
• try to break, overload, copy or get unauthorised access to FastCAC or its data;
• scrape our tools or use them to build a competing service.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

FastCAC's name, website, software, guides and designs belong to DigitalAbode. Your business details and documents stay yours; you let us use them only to provide the service. You may share links to our guides, but not copy or republish them.

FastCAC relies on outside services, such as CAC's systems, payment providers and messaging apps, and links to other websites. We aren't responsible for their content, availability or terms, and an outage at CAC can delay your registration.

We provide FastCAC with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, it's provided "as is", without other promises.

We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service it relates to. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or any other law that can't be limited.

We may update these terms as FastCAC changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Registrations you've already paid for follow the terms in place when you paid. If you keep using FastCAC after a change, you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If something goes wrong, contact us first and we'll try to resolve it. If we can't, the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction.
