Create a registration
Send the proposed names, line of business, business address and proprietor details. You get a draft and a list of missing fields.

Upload documents
The paper NIN slip, a passport photo and a signature for each proprietor. Each upload is checked as it arrives.

Submit
Submit charges your prepaid wallet and FastCAC files with CAC. CAC usually decides within 24 hours.

Get the certificate
On registration.approved you get the registration number. Download the certificate when certificate_ready fires.

Check a name against CAC's rules and register before your user pays, so fewer applications come back.
Documents checked on upload
NIN slip, passport photo and signature go through file checks as they arrive. A bad file is rejected at once, not days later by CAC.
CAC queries, field by field
A query names the field to fix, such as proprietors[0].documents.passport. Fix it, resubmit, no extra charge.
Webhooks at every status
registration.submitted, queried, approved, certificate_ready and more, each signed so you can verify it.
Certificate as a PDF
CAC's certificate and status report, downloadable as often as you like once approved.
A full test mode
Test keys never reach CAC. Simulate approval, a query, a rejection or an empty wallet, and run every path.

Is there an API for CAC registration?
Yes. The FastCAC API registers Business Names with CAC from your own product: create a registration, upload documents, submit, and get the certificate back over the API. Test keys are free on sign-up at developers.fastcac.com.
How much does CAC registration cost through the API?
₦35,000 per Business Name registration, charged from your prepaid wallet when you submit. CAC's filing fee is included, and resubmitting after a CAC query is free. The current price is always on the Billing page of your dashboard.
How long does CAC registration take through the API?
CAC usually decides within 24 hours of filing. Some applications go to a final review, where an officer confirms within about 48 working hours. You get a webhook at every change.
What can I register through the API?
Business Names are live today, with one proprietor per live registration for now. Limited Company registration is coming to the same API.
