NIN Slip Download: Free and Paid Ways

What the NIN Slip Is

The NIN slip is a one-page document from NIMC with your NIN, names, gender, address and photo. Banks, schools, employers and CAC accept it as proof of your NIN. You don't need the plastic card for any of them.

Download It Free in NIMC's NINAuth App

1. Install NINAuth from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Sign in with your NIN details.
3. Open your NIN slip, then share or download it.

NIMC announced free slip downloads in the app in July 2026. If you can sign in, this is the cheapest way.

Get It Online Without the App

No smartphone, can't sign in, or need it on a laptop and printed today? You can get it with just your NIN:

1. Open Get your NIN slip and enter your 11-digit NIN.
2. Follow the short face check, so only you can get your slip.
3. See your photo and name, confirm it's you, then pay ₦1,000 plus a small processing fee.
4. Download NIMC's PDF and a print-ready image. Both are emailed to you too.

Don't know your NIN? Get your NIN with your phone number and add the slip, ₦1,200 for both. You can also visit a NIMC enrolment centre, which prints it for you.

Printing Your NIN Slip

• Print on plain A4, in colour if you can, so the photo is clear.
• Don't scale it to fit the page edge: keep the white margin so nothing is cut off.
• Keep the PDF on your phone and in your email. You'll be asked for it again.

Need It to Register a Business?

CAC asks for every proprietor's NIN and a means of ID. If you register a business name with FastCAC and don't have your slip, we get it for you as part of your registration, at no extra cost.
