How to get your NIN number online

Start the tool on this page, enter the phone number you registered with NIMC, and take a short face check with your camera. Once your face matches your NIMC photo, you see your details, pay, and your 11-digit NIN appears on screen. It takes about 3 minutes.

If you remember the phone number you used when you enrolled, you can get your NIN here with that number and a face check. If you no longer have that number, visit a NIMC enrolment centre with a form of ID and they can look it up for you.

You don't need your slip or your NIN card. Your phone number and your face are enough: we find your record by your phone number and confirm it's you by matching your face to the photo NIMC holds.

So nobody can look up someone else's NIN with their phone number. We only show a record to the person in it, after a live face check against the photo on that record.

₦500 for your NIN, or ₦1,200 for your NIN and your NIN slip (PDF and image). A small payment processing fee is added at checkout. You only pay after we've found your record and you've confirmed it's you.

Yes. NIMC has its own channels, including a USSD code you dial from the phone number linked to your NIN, the NIMC mobile app, and its enrolment centres. Use this tool if those haven't worked for you or you want your NIN and slip in one place, by email.

Your NIN is probably linked to a different number, or the number wasn't saved when you enrolled. You aren't charged. Try another number you've used, or get your NIN slip with your NIN if you have it.

We use your details only to show you your own record and send it to you. We don't sell them, and we delete them after 7 days. FastCAC is a business registration service and isn't part of NIMC.
